19. Street Art Festival by POUP

Town

The Poreč Open University started out from the idea of linking art and tourism, wishing to provide the Poreč residents and their visitors an open festival format that would include all aspects of artistic expression, from music and stage performances and art projects to various types of street acrobatics and performances.

Our festival is called "the Festival of Life" for a reason because the City Hall comes alive on Fridays when it joins the hustle and bustle in the town and moves to the beat of the music echoing through Poreč.

After giving Poreč a makeover with last year's Wall Lighting show, this year we are taking things a step further by engaging lights and colours in an interplay that will awaken and put a new sheen on the City Hall, which is more than a hundred years old.

This visual spectacle will be achieved with 3D Mapping, a novel method that combines architecture, design and AV technology, easily transforming any surface into a dynamic video wall.

Join us on Friday at 21:30h in front of the City Hall and embark on an adventure that will make you wonder whether your eyes are playing tricks on you.

Isabella V Level Castle on Sveti Nikola Island

The Princess Ball takes place against the enchanting backdrop of the castle on Sveti Nikola Island and offers a true fairy tale with plenty of features and surprises.

Children will meet the prince and princess, take photos with their favourite cartoon characters and enjoy a variety of zones, such as Dress Up (face painting, tattoo, hairdressing and manicure), Hocus Pocus, Photo and sweet corner, a dance workshop, the little school of fencing, balloon twisting and a mini "alka" tournament. They will also take home a surprise gift as a souvenir. The number of places is limited. You can sign up online at REGISTRATION.

The price of the return ferry ticket family package to Sveti Nikola island is 50 HRK and is valid for 4 persons. The ferry tickets are available for purchase at the Valamar Experience Concierge info point on the Riva opposite the terminal for the ferry service to Sveti Nikola Island from an hour before the beginning of the event until it starts.

Residents of Poreč are entitled to a free ticket. The ticket is obtained by presenting your ID to the hostesses at the checkpoint next to the Valamar Experience Concierge info point on the Riva opposite the terminal for the ferry service to Sveti Nikola Island.

All visitors (residents and everyone else) that have not booked their seat online will pay for the ferry transfer at the regular price of the ferry ticket, which is available for purchase at the Valamar Experience Concierge Info point on the Riva opposite the terminal for the ferry service to Sveti Nikola Island.
