Ljeto i uživanje u bogatstvima Jadrana u Poreču još nije gotovo. Naime, ove subote, 8. rujna, počinje tjedan tune, kraljice Jadranskog mora. Već od sutra će više od deset porečkih restorana nuditi kreativna i inovativna jela pripremljena od jadranske tune po promotivnim cijenama u sklopu Tuna Restaurant Weeka. Među tim restoranima su: Konoba Ćakula, Spinnaker, Miramare, Cotton Club, Fora Le Porte, L’insolito, Hrast, Divino, Cardo, Gourmet, Niki’s i Sveti Nikola koji pripremaju najbolji izbor specijaliteta od tune.
A onda slijedi i nikad bogatiji Tunalicious Street Food Festival s brojnim specijalitetima od tune koji će se ove godine održati od 13. do 15. rujna. Tada će porečka riva postati omiljeno mjesto svim gurmanima jer će iskusni chefovi pripremati delicije od netom ulovljene tune i drugih svježih namirnica. Paralelno će se u Poreču održati i četvrto izdanje najvećeg natjecanja u lovu na veliku ribu na cijelom Jadranu – Offshore World Challenge.
Raznovrstan festivalski koncept na Rivu dovodi i nove gastro kornere poput Burger Bara, Tuna Bites Bara, Sushi Bara, Tuna & Sea Food Bara, dok će Sweet Bites Bar privući sve ljubitelje slastica. U ponudi će biti i domaće porečko craft pivo Bura Brew i Suxo Craft Beer iz pulske craft radionice. Oni skloniji vinu svoj će kutak pronaći u Wine & Cheese baru s bogatom ponudom domaćih istarskih vina i sireva, a ljubitelji jednog od najpopularnijih ljetnih pića gin tonica oduševit će se, pak, ponudom u Gin Baru. Na ovom gastro festivalu posjetitelji će moći isprobati burgere od tune, vitello tonnato, tacose na bazi tune, sushi, te tunu na još mnogo različitih načina.
Dok posjetitelji Tunaliciousa uživaju u finim jelima, za dobru glazbu će se pobrinuti bendovi i DJ koji će nastupati na ljetnoj pozornici na Rivi. Među njima će biti i riječki The Janitors i rabački Side Effects, a posebna glazbena poslastica 15. rujna bit će koncert Dino Dvornik Tribute Banda i popularnog imena regionalne scene – grupe S.A.R.S.

Energični rockeri iz Vojvodine – Red Hot Chili Peppers Real Tribute bend jučer su svojim žestokim ritmovima dobro uzdrmali brojnu publiku na porečkoj rivi u sklopu Poreč Open Air Festivala. Već je predgrupa The Blondes napravila odličnu uvertiru stalno najavljujući bend večeri što je na rivu privuklo veliki broj ljudi. Okupljena publika je željno iščekivala poznate hitove Peppersa.
Tribute bend je počeo svoj nastup pjesmom ‘Can’t stop’, a nastavio nizom RHCP hitova među kojima su najbolje reakcije publike izazvale ‘Otherside’, ‘Dark Necessities’ i ‘Under the bridge’. A najviše ovacija izazvala je izvedba velikog hita ‘Californication’ s višestruko nagrađivanog albuma koji je s 15 milijuna prodanih primjeraka ujedno i najprodavaniji album Peppersa. Ona je bila zadnja. U publici su bili mahom veliki obožavatelji RHCP-a koji su znali sve riječi pjesama i pjevali uglas s bendom. A bend se pobrinuo za dobru atmosferu. Glavni pjevač je kao i prošle godine skakao u publiku i bio izuzetno energičan što je vrlo brzo obuzelo i publiku pa je interakcija potrajala do kraja koncerta. Iako bis nije bio planiran, bend nije mogao odoliti pozivu publike i izveo je još ‘Get on Top’ i ‘Californication’.

Poreč Open Air i ovih dana donosi brojne i zanimljive programe za sve zainteresirane. Naime, večeras će u Lapidariumu u sklopu 23. Jazz in Lapidarium by POUP nastupiti Atma Mundi Ensemble koji će publiku zabavljati svojim hvaljenim albumom ‘The Road to Skitacha’. Ovaj zanimljivi kvartet okuplja hrvatske i inozemne izvođače inspirirane glazbom iz različitih dijelova svijeta, a publici nude vrhunski doživljaj putovanja kroz svjetsku glazbu.

Danas također započinje i 18. izdanje Street Art Festivala u organizaciji Pučkog otvorenog učilišta Poreč na kojem će posjetitelji uživati u raznim formatima umjetničkog izraza. Osim glazbeno-scenskih nastupa, posjetitelje očekuju i likovno-umjetnički projekti te razne ulične akrobacije i performansi, a tijekom devet dana trajanja festivala koji je za sve posjetitelje u potpunosti besplatan, ljubitelji umjetnosti moći će i upoznati brojne umjetnike iz cijeloga svijeta.

Petak je već standardno rezerviran za fanove kvalitetne glazbe jer na pozornicu na Rivi stiže posljednji bend u sklopu programa World Stage i to porečkoj publici već dobro poznati Red Hot Chili Peppers Real Tribute Band. Energični dečki iz Vojvodine prošle su godine zapalili publiku na Poreč Open Airu stvorivši tako idealnu pozivnicu za ovogodišnji nastup. Ovaj legendarni i nagrađivani rock sastav autor je brojnih hitova, a u svojim skladbama objedinjuju razne glazbene stilove. Publiku u petak očekuje provjerena zabava za pamćenje i zanimljiv glazbeno-scenski spektakl uz ‘Californication’, ‘Dark Necessities’ i brojne druge hitove.

The Beyonce Real Tribute Bend fired up the crowd last night at the Riva with their performance as part of the Poreč Open Air festival. The band ‘Single Ladies’ is the first European mostly female Queen B tribute band. With their emotional vibrations and energetic vocals, they delivered a string of classics, such as: ‘Survivor’, a hit that Beyonce recorded while she was still with Destiny’s Child, followed by ‘Crazy in Love’, ‘Single Ladies’, ‘Run the World’, ‘Irreplaceable’ and many more. The girls delighted everyone with their performance of ‘Halo’, as evidenced by the audience-grabbing their cell phones at the first sound of the song’s opening bars in order to record the singer whose voice bears a striking resemblance to Beyonce’s. There was dancing, singing and great fun galore as the Riva was transformed into a dancefloor and the latest Poreč Open Air concert won the hearts of locals and visitors alike.

The Poreč Open Air festival resumes with its enticing programme. The kids will especially enjoy watching the movie ‘Monsters University’ as part of the Open Air Cinema programme. This animated blockbuster will be shown at 9 pm in the garden of the Villa Polesini. Tomorrow, at the same place and at the same time, entertainment is guaranteed for fans of terrific action pictures as they get to enjoy ‘The Accountant’, which tells the story of a less-than-ordinary accountant. Open Air Cinema becomes kid-centric on Friday with the screening of ‘Wreck-It Ralph’, an animated movie that will draw in and make everyone in the audience laugh.
On Friday, entertainment will be provided by Single Ladies – the Beyonce Real Tribute Band at the Riva. Visitors of all ages will have a great time with hits such as ‘Single Ladies’, ‘Halo’, ‘Partition’ or ‘If I Were a Boy’. Queen B, as she is affectionately called by her fans, has been wowing crowds across the globe since she was seven, which has made her one of the top-earning artists of today. Single Ladies is the world’s first and only all-female Beyonce tribute band. These eye-catching and extremely talented musicians have played at all the major regional festivals and on Friday night, they will be performing some of the greatest R’n’B hits in Poreč.

Poreč Open Air jučer je svoje posjetitelje počastio sjajnim koncertom James Brown Real Tribute Banda. Energični, zarazni, opušteni i zabavni riječi su kojima je publika opisala ovaj instrumentalno i vokalno izuzetan bend, a ovacija i oduševljenja iz redova publike nije nedostajalo tijekom cijelog koncerta. Koncert je započeo pjesmom ‘Make it Funky’ čiji je funky ritam od prvih taktova osvojio i rasplesao publiku, a odlično se raspoloženje nastavilo uz hitove ‘Shake everything you’ve got’, ‘Sexmachine’ i ‘Get it up or turn it a loose’. Rasplesani posjetitelji svih uzrasta najviše su skandirali na izvedbe ‘I feel good’ i ‘Get Up offa That thing’, a poseban trenutak večeri bila je vrhunska a capella izvedba pjesme ‘Please,please,please’ u kojoj su vokalno sudjelovali svi članovi benda što je publika popratila gromoglasnim pljeskom i vriskom. Izvrsna atmosfera s koncerta zasigurno će se još dugo pamtiti.
Uvod u vikend tako je počeo nezaboravnim koncertom, a danas festival donosi kino pod zvijezdama u novom terminu. Sve projekcije počinju u 20:30. Posjetitelji će tako moći uživati u filmskoj uspješnici ‘The Goonies‘ koja svojom zanimljivom pričom pruža zabavu za cijelu obitelj. Nedjelja donosi pravu poslasticu za sve ljubitelje sedme umjetnosti jer je na rasporedu legendarna ‘Casablanca‘ – film u kojem igraju legende poput Ingrid Bergman i Humphreya Bogarta. Ponedjeljak će biti namijenjen mlađim posjetiteljima jer je na rasporedu animirani film ‘The Croods‘, a u utorak će se moći uživati u omiljenom laviću Simbi i filmu ‘The Lion King‘.

Poreč Open Air festival još uvijek traje i još uvijek donosi različite sadržaje za sve uzraste i sve ukuse.
Današnja večer u Poreču bit će ponovno u znaku jazza. Naime, šest glazbenika mlađe hrvatske jazz generacije okupljeni pod imenom B’s FUNstallation zabavljat će sve goste u sklopu Jazz in Lap festivala koji godinama dovodi izvrsne glazbenike u popularni Lapidarium. Sekstet je u proljeće 2012. godine okupio trubač Zvonimir Bajević. Svi su zajedno svirali u okviru HGM Jazz orkestra Zagreb, a kasnije i u Jazz orkestru HRT-a čiji su i danas članovi.
U petak posjetitelje očekuje dobra zabava uz zvukove soula i funka i James Brown Real Tribute Band. Bit će to izvrsna prilika da se publika podsjeti na glazbenika koji je tijekom života dao velik doprinos razvoju gospela i R&B-a, a također i soula i funka što se kasnije značajno odrazilo na pop glazbu koju danas slušamo. Hitovi poput ‘I Got You (I Feel Good)’ ili ‘It’s a Man’s Man’s Man’s World’ najbolja su pozivnica za dobar provod, a ambijent će posebnim učiniti i osvijetljene porečke zidine.

Space Oddity, Starman, Ziggy Stardust, Let’s Dance, Heroes and a string of other hits could be heard last night on the stage on the Poreč waterfront as part of the Poreč Open Air festival. The Gift, a band that has been active for over 15 years and has earned a reputation for delivering sublime imitations of cult bands, enthralled Poreč last night with their renditions of songs by the legendary David Bowie. They opened the concert with the big hit Cat People.

The music of the never-forgotten British artist created a fantastic atmosphere in town where an array of tourists and locals gathered and sang Bowie’s hits along with the band’s frontman. It should also be noted that the original, captivating and dancing front man entertained the crowd and the fans of David Bowie by going into the crowd and singing together with them. They were especially delighted when he climbed onto the bar to perform two songs, which the audience promptly photographed and recorded.

The fabulous atmosphere was reason enough for the crowd to call the band for an encore, during which The Gift performed four more songs. The audience in the front rows, which mostly consisted of somewhat older attendees, was truly left gobsmacked by the band’s unusual and artistic renditions.

Everybody’s favourite summer festival, Poreč Open Air, which has put Poreč on the map when it comes to providing top-notch entertainment, has reached its peak, much like the summer season on the Croatian coast. The streets of Poreč are filled with a genuine festival atmosphere due to the plethora of fun activities that the diligent organizers have provided once again this year. The renowned traditional jazz festival is being held at the moment. Alex Brajković, a musician from Poreč, will be performing with his band DRT/PWR at 9 pm as part of the 23rd Jazz in the Lapidarium festival, which is organized by the Poreč Public Open University. Alex was raised in Poreč but was educated in Amsterdam, where he met his other band members who hail from France, Italy and New Zealand. Over the course of the two years since their formation, the band has performed their music, which is a unique fusion of hip-hop, electronic music and jazz, at some of the most prestigious European jazz clubs, and tonight visitors to the famous Cafe Bar Lapidarium in Poreč will also have the opportunity to enjoy their music.

The weekend in Poreč will once again kick off with great music because the David Bowie Tribute Band will take the stage on the waterfront at 8:30 pm. Hits such as ‘Heroes’, ‘Space Oddity’ or ‘Life on Mars’ guarantee a great and memorable time. This performance will evoke the memory of a musician that made an indelible mark on the global music scene and whose songs still echo in contemporary hits. At the same time, the walls at Lungomare will be lit up, thus providing the visitors with a perfect backdrop for their photos.

Last night, the Poreč waterfront was packed with people dancing to the legendary hits of the Beatles. The Beatles Real Tribute Band performed at the Poreč Open Air festival and were joined on stage by a girl from the audience named Melody, who played with the band as an unofficial fifth member.

This throwback to the 1960s, when rock was still young and the very sight of the four Liverpudlian lads made the crowd scream and faint, attracted the denizens of Poreč and visitors of all ages. Their timeless hits have always struck a chord with the audience and always will, regardless of their age or taste in music. This was evidenced last night by the crowd in Poreč, who were singing the entire time from the opener Please Please Me to the closing Hey Jude. Imagine and Let It Be had whipped the atmosphere into a frenzy. The audience was singing so loud at some points that they drowned out the band. Cigarette lighters and cell phones were on display and the atmosphere was truly electrifying, with the red moon that was in full view last night also adding to the romantic ambience.

The fact that the Beatles still have a devoted and loyal fanbase that are left stirred at every show was given credence by two 20-year-old girls from the front row who were in tears throughout the concert: “We love the Beatles so much that we just can’t control our emotions when we listen to their music!“
