The third edition of the Poreč Open Air summer festival, which began on July 1st with a brand new show as part of the Istra Inspirit programme, is already in full swing. Visitors can enjoy a variety of open-air movie screenings under the starry sky in the garden of Villa Polesini as part of the Open Air Cinema programme. ‘The Lego Batman Movie’, ‘The Lion King’ and ‘Baby Driver’ are scheduled for tonight, tomorrow and Thursday, respectively.
Coming to the Piazza as part of the Special Events programme is the Queen Real Tribute Band. During the festival’s Lanterna Summer Nights programme, which is made possible by Valamar Riviera in cooperation with the Tar-Vabriga Tourist Board, the Lanterna Premium Camping Resort will be open to all interested visitors and can be entered free of charge, while more information about the programme, locations and schedules are available at www.lanternasummernights.com, as well as on the Lanterna Premium Camping Resort Facebook page.
If the visitors miss the Queen Real Tribute Band in the Piazza, they can catch them again the following day on the Riva in Poreč at the Poreč Open Air festival. After world-renowned tribute bands delighted the crowds week after week last year, this musical extravaganza will be held once again this year as part of the World Stage programme with seven tribute bands slated to perform at the event. The Queen Real Tribute Band will bring the legendary songwriter and artist Freddie Mercury back to life with his greatest hits, including Bohemian Rhapsody, Somebody to Love, Another One Bites the Dust and many others.
