The third edition of the Poreč Open Air summer festival will start on Sunday with the Istra Inspirit programme. It is an interactive family edutainment programme, held on Sveti Nikola Island, that has attracted of that has attracted a large number of Croatian and foreign visitors in recent years. Every Sunday throughout July and until August 19th, the festival attendees will be able to roam the island accompanied by enchanting music as well as a plethora of fairies and elves and will learn more about the mischievous dwarves called Macmalići, how the mermaids swam to Sveti Nikola Island, who was robbed by pirates and who built the Arena. The adventure ends in the park outside Valamar Isabella V Level Castle, where visitors will be welcomed by characters from Istrian mythology.
Admission is free of charge, however the Istra Inspirit programme allows only a limited number of visitors, which is why you should sign up on the Poreč Open Air website.
Starting on Sunday, for the third year in a row Poreč will become a must-visit destination for everyone looking for a good time. The leading tourist company Valamar Riviera, in cooperation with the hosts the Town of Poreč, Poreč Tourist Board and the company MPG, the event’s organizer, will bring back the festival spirit to the streets and squares of Poreč as well as Sveti Nikola Island and provide more than a hundred new entertaining events for all ages.
